About Me
Zuzana Radičová is a Slovak-born visual artist based between Salzburg and Copenhagen working within contemporary textile art. Her practice centers on quilted tapestries and explores the relationship between image, material, and spatial composition through a dialogue between digital and analogue processes. Working with textile as both image and object, she investigates how surfaces can hold atmosphere, structure, and visual tension.
Alongside her artistic practice, she has worked for 6+ years as a Senior Textile Designer & Graphic Designer for the renowned Danish Multidisciplinary designer HENRIK VIBSKOV. This background continues to inform her sensitivity to material, construction, color, and composition, while her current work moves beyond function and into the spatial and tactile possibilities of textile as an autonomous artistic medium. She has recently participated in two artist residencies in Japan, where she deepened her engagement with Japanese aesthetics, material culture, and craft traditions. She is currently in an AIR in Denmark, continuing to expand her work within contemporary textile art. In March 2026, she presented her first Solo exhibition in Copenhagen, marking an important step in the public development of her practice.
